Njiri Eco Camp offers the chance to safari in the wild Mozambique bush, learn survival skills and ultimately improve it for future generations.
Volunteers will be involved in the monitoring of the newly released lion population. They will get training in bush skills such as navigation, tracking and species identification, as well as participating in anti-poaching walks and the new Outreach programme which combines conservation with helping the local community.
This course is aimed at people with an interest in African wildlife, a desire to learn about the different species and how they all interact and connect. For people who don't just want to observe nature but get their hands dirty too.
The activities at Njiri Eco Camp do require a moderate level of fitness, the bush walks range in length and terrain, although we will tailor the walk to suit the group's ability. You will also be required to climb in and out of the game vehicles.
